Getting Started with bloXmove

To start using the bloXmoveNG app as a rider, you need an active email address, a valid phone number, and the bloXmove app installed on your phone.

To onboard yourself as a rider, follow these steps:

  • Download and install the bloXmove app on your device.
  • Launch the app and select sign up to proceed
  • Enter a username, email address, and a valid phone number.
  • Click submit to get onboarded
  • Edit your profile details in the app’s profile section if needed.

Payment

You can pay for a trip using your card or directly from your in-app wallet.

Paying before the ride ensures that you have sufficient funds for the trip. The payment is held in escrow and gets paid out to the driver only after a successful ride or is returned to your account for a cancelled ride.

Inputting your bank details is necessary to verify your ownership of the payment card and facilitate any required refunds.

Yes, you can delete a card from your profile by clicking the delete Icon next to the card.

Prices for each trip are determined by consulting drivers and passengers across our operational areas. A breakdown of how each price is calculated will be provided in due time.

Taking a trip

To search for a ride, enter the pickup location and destination, then click the search button.

The bloXmove app offers Vehicle Hailing and Interstate trips as the two trip categories.

The Interstate trip option will soon be live, and we will announce it across our social media handles.

Currently, you can only add a single destination per trip. We are working on making multiple destinations possible in the future.

You can contact the assigned driver by clicking on the call Icon provided on the app’s screen when the driver accepts your ride request.

You can cancel a ride at any time before the driver arrives at the pickup location. Once the ride has started on the app, cancellation is no longer possible.

You will be charged for cancelling a ride only if the cancellation occurs more than 5 minutes after the driver has accepted the ride.

You will receive a refund for cancelled rides. However, if the ride was cancelled more than 5 minutes after the driver accepted it, a cancellation charge will be deducted from the refund amount.

A ride code is a six-digit number that corresponds to that of the assigned driver. The ride code ensures that the driver is indeed the one assigned for the trip.

At the end of each trip, you can review and rate the driver. You can also review a driver by selecting the ride on your transaction History

To report a driver, please send a message or email to our support team with relevant details.

Profile and account

Yes, you can edit your profile details in the profile section of the app.

Yes, you can delete your account by accessing the profile section of the app. However, please note that deleting your account will result in the loss of all associated NFTickets.

If your account has been compromised, please contact our support team immediately with detailed information about the issue.

A recovery phrase is a sequence of randomly generated words used to back up and restore access to your in-app wallet and account. It serves as a safeguard against device loss, or hardware failures.

Your recovery phrase can be accessed in the profile section of the app after onboarding keep it safe and offline, stored in a secure, private location, as it grants access to your assets.

If you No longer have access to the recovery phrase you will lose access to your account, create a new account and reach out to our support.
