This policy applies when you use bloXmoveNG, bloXmoveNG driver, our website, mobile applications, products, content or services (collectively “Platform” or “Services”), or when you contact us. The policy does not cover how we handle information about our candidates, employees or business partners.

This policy applies wherever Smart Mobility Integrated Services Limited is available, except for the countries where a jurisdiction-specific privacy policy is in place. We will comply with applicable local laws in relation to all practices described in this policy. If there is an inconsistency between this policy and the local law, we will comply with the local law to the extent of the inconsistency.

Users that request or receive transportation, logistics, or courier services via bloXmoveNG are referred to as “Passengers”, and individuals who provide these services to Passengers are referred to as “Drivers”.

 

INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

Registration and Passenger information may include first name, phone number, email, country, and city. Where permitted or required by law, we may collect your selfie image for liveness checks, national ID numbers and social media accounts for safety purposes, as well as emergency contact numbers. Without providing this information you will not be able to use bloXmoveNG or some of its features. If you wish, you may additionally provide your last name, and profile picture.

Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, payment information, profile picture, and other information you provide during account creation or service use.

Trip Information Pickup and drop-off locations, route taken, date and time of your trip, fare, and distance traveled.

Driver Information: Driver’s full name, profile picture, license data and status, information about the vehicle (type, make, model, year of manufacture, color, registration certificate data, license plate, vehicle inspection report, vehicle image), proof of identity, state identification numbers, ID document (including driver license, passport), proof of residency, home address, date of birth, gender, taxation identifier number, relevant insurance, right to work, driving record, payment or banking information, and other documents which may be required by applicable regulation. Where permitted or required by law, we may additionally collect background checks and criminal records information. This information may be processed by authorized vendors on our behalf. Without providing such information, you will not be able to register as a Driver or Passenger.

User-generated content: Comments, ratings, and reviews that you choose to upload on bloXmoveNG and bloXmoveNG driver.

Correspondence Information: messages, emails with any attachments, recordings of phone calls you make to us and the related metadata.

Promotions Information: From time to time, we may run car branding, referral and other promotional programs. If you wish to participate in such programs and receive bonuses, payments or other benefits, we may ask you to provide information such as your name, email, user ID, phone number, payment or banking information, home address, social media account, vehicle type and image.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT AUTOMATICALLY

In connection with your use of our Platform, we collect various types of information, including:

  1. Location Information: We collect your device’s location data to provide our services, ensure safety, and detect fraud. This collection is based on your app settings and device permissions. Specifically:
    • For passengers, we collect precise location data when the app is running in the foreground and background from the time you request a ride until it ends.
    •  For drivers, we collect precise location data when the app is running in the foreground and background in the bloXmoveNG driver app, and for a limited time after you exit the bloXmoveNG driver app.

2. Transaction Information: We collect information about the services provided via our Platform, including payment details, date and time of service, route, and distance traveled, both in the bloXmoveNG driver app and the bloXmoveNG app.

3. Usage Information: We collect data about how you use our Platform, including access dates and times, features or pages viewed, and Platform crashes.

4. Communications Information: We collect data about your communications with other users and with us, including the time and date of communications and the content.

5. Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access our Platform, including device name, brand, model, user agent, IP address, and other technical data.

6. User and Trip IDs: We automatically assign you a user ID when you create an account, and a trip ID for each trip.

7. Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, pixels, tags, and other tracking technologies to collect information about your use of our Platform.

DATA SECURITY AND DATA BREACH

We are committed to protecting the security and integrity of your personal information. In the event of a data breach, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law. Please note that the types of personal information that trigger notification obligations vary by statute, but may include your name, Social Security Number, driver’s license or state identification card number, financial account number or payment card information, date of birth, mother’s maiden name, passport number, biometric data, employee identification number, or username and password.

DATA MINIMIZATION

We strive to collect only the information necessary to provide our services and ensure the safety and security of our users. We do not collect information that is not relevant, necessary, or adequate for the purpose of the collection.

  1.  Passenger information shared with drivers, such as your name, profile picture, rating, pickup and drop-off locations, and contact information.
  2.  Driver information shared with passengers, such as their name, profile picture, vehicle information, and contact information.
  3.  Information necessary to provide receipts and invoices, such as the origin and destination of the trip, total duration and distance, and itemization of the total fare.

Sharing with Service Providers

We may share your personal information with our service providers, who assist us in providing our services. These providers may include but are not limited to:

  1. Payment processors and transaction fulfillment providers
  2.  User and technical support providers
  3.  Background check and identity verification providers
  4.  Insurance providers
  5.  Cloud storage providers

Fare Recommendations: Our system provides average fare estimates based on factors such as distance, location, and time of day.

In accordance with applicable laws, we ensure that any actions taken as a result of these automated decision-making processes, including deactivation, are subject to human review and/or the possibility of appeal.   1. Ride history: We will retain ride history data for a period of 2 years after the ride is completed, in order to allow for the exercise of rights and the fulfillment of obligations.
  2. User account information: We will retain user account information for as long as the account is active, and for a period of 1 year after the account is closed or deleted.
  3. Payment information: We will retain payment information for a period of 1 year after the payment is processed, in order to allow for the exercise of rights and the fulfillment of obligations.
  4. Location information: We will retain location information for a period of 30 days after the ride is completed, in order to allow for the exercise of rights and the fulfillment of obligations.
  5. Driver information: We will retain driver information for as long as the driver is active, and for a period of 1 year after the driver is deactivated or deleted.
  6. Rating and review information: We will retain rating and review information for a period of 2 years after the rating or review is submitted, in order to allow for the exercise of rights and the fulfillment of obligations.

DATA DELETION

We will delete personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or when the individual requests deletion of their personal data. We will also delete personal data when it is no longer required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

EXCEPTIONS

There may be exceptions to our data retention periods, including:

  1. Legal requirements: We may be required to retain personal data for a longer period of time in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Litigation: We may be required to retain personal data for a longer period of time in order to defend or pursue a claim.
